When are the Troops Coming Home?

Recently, democrats have been pointing fingers and demanding that President Bush commit to a date to bring the troops home.
Before they demand such a date from President Bush, perhaps they should finish some of their own business.
It was a Democrat president and a Democratic controlled congress who entered us into WWII. When it was over, we created a base in Japan. Sixty years later the troops are still there. Likewise with Germany. To this day we have a massive presence in Germany.
A few years later, a Democratic controlled congress and a Democratic President lead us into the Korean conflict. More than half century later.... we are still there.
And yet just over two years after entering Iraq, the Democrats are screaming for "a plan and an exit date". Go figure.
