Vet Speaks Out on CA Flag Debacle
Here’s an email I received from a decorated Vet speaking out on the debacle at the California school where the Mexican flag was flown above a U.S. Flag which was flown upside down. Those guys in Congress should take note of the passion in this email which reflects the sentiment of many.

Congressman:
I have just witnessed the removal of the American Flag at California High Schools...In its place was run the flag of Mexico with the US flag hanging upside down beneath it.
Sir, I can assure you that this will not be tolerated and in a short time you will have on your hands a Civil War. Democrats are panning for the Mexican vote, and yes we all know that illegals vote with fake drivers licenses. America isn't blind nor a nation of cowards, like the French or so many of those whom we elect.
Today in Hot Springs WalMart I witnessed more Mexicans than I have ever seen. In the check out line there was one in front of me and two behind me. They had screaming kids and WIC vouchers. When she didn't have the correct items under the WIC program she went nuts, she said to the Checker "why don't you get someone to make this right then". This border jumping, non English speaking, illegal immigrent Welfare sucking, criminal was demanding a US citizen to drop everything and correct her stupidity.
I am so outraged I cannot begin to tell you how it feels as a disabled AMERICAN VETERAN wounded 5 times in combat, to see my beloved flag haulded down by illegal foreigners, and the flag of 3rd world Mexcio ran up in its place. It raises a rage that I have not felt in over 35 years.
Then, the final insult is to put the AMERICAN FLAG upside down BENEATH the FLAG if a 3rd world piece of ____ country like Mexico ...its too much.
The blood will soon begin to stain the streets of America due to the political powergames you all are playing in Washington. We overthrew a bunch of tyrants a couple of hundred years ago, today's treasonous Washington politicians would be much easier.
Maybe you should get out more sir, the internet is ablaze with the anger of US citizens from the disrespect to our country by these illegal invaders. Read their AZTLAN publications about how they are going to unite with Venusuala and force the US into submission of their immigration from Mexico.
Its nothing less than invasion by immigration.
You have an obligation to this country, honor your oath. stop illegal immigration now. Today it can be stopped with the pen, tomorrow it will take the sword...you choose.
Its not POLITICAL, its national security.

Children Born To Illegals Are Illegal
We’re receiving quite a few comments on the citizenship status of children born in the U.S. to illegal parentage. Here’s one that addresses this.

I would like to further comment that people are
illegally in our country and have children born in our
country are inhibiting our country illegally,
therefore these children are born illegally here and
should not be allowed to have citizenship here. This
is where this problem has really started and should be
terminated.
My mother came over to this nation in 1948 and she had
to have a sponsor that would agree to take care of the
expenditures to send her back to the country she came
from if she did not work out. If my mother had not
been here legally then I would not have been her
legally. We must stop these law breakers right now!

No Citizenship for Lawbreakers!
Doug, a Grassfire team member, has some very practical points worth noting on immigration reform.

HR 4437 and S 249 should contain the following provisions:
1. No baby should be able to automatically become a citizen unless it has two parents that are citizens of the United States or at least one parent with citizenship and the other in the process of obtaining it.
2. No one who came here as an illegal immigrant should be entitled to become a citizen because they broke the law. I do however support a temporary immigrant work program for those people who broke the law but they must ultimately return to their country of origin. Those who apply for immigrant status before coming here to work and follow the law should be entitled to apply but only within the immigration quotas.
3. To sponsor any immigrant for citizenship, as I understand, requires among other things a guarantee of a job and a $50,000 bond.
4. Employers that hire illegal immigrants should be fined in order to pay the cost of repatriation. A bounty should be paid to anyone finding those employing illegal immigrants.
5. The Mexican government should also take responsibility for the cost of repatriating their citizens. They could provide us with low or no cost oil for our oil reserves.
6. Groups such as the Minutemen should be deputized to assist the border patrol. If not on the border, they could help with the repatriation effort.
7. Illegal immigration should be a felony.
8. In areas where there are drug traffickers, sometimes assisted by the Mexican military, the National Guard should be called in to assist the Border Patrol.
9. Health checks should be a part of any temporary worker program.

They Are Not Our Neighbors
Received this email from a Grassfire team member on the frontlines of the illegal immigration battle. It demonstrates the passion felt by those who are living where the effect of illegal immigration is faced on a daily basis.

I am so excited that you have taken up this cause and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your email updates. I have donated in the past and will continue to do so when funds are available. I wanted to let you know that I called Senator Kennedy’s office this morning and invited him to stay at my home and visit in Texas. I told his staff member that unfortunately, I felt that Mr. Kennedy needed to see first hand what these “neighbors...Church goers...the shop owners down the street. They are the people we know" are really like. They are not our neighbors. I live near a ton of them and they will not speak to me even if I say Hi – they look at me like I have 3 heads. They do not want to know me. They do not want to become Americans and do not want to speak English. They are here to get what they can for free and never pay a tax except for sales tax which they cannot avoid. I also reminded them that I did not see any American flags waving in the breeze as these ILLEGAL ALIENS marched on our streets. We had kids walking out of school and descending on the Dallas City Hall and scared the workers to death. They were not carrying American flags either. They chanted “Mexico.” I suggest they return home to Mexico and try that crap.
I also invited him to tour Parkland Hospital so he can see just how much these people take and not return to society. I, for one, am sick of the constant turning of our heads. Illegal has a definition and the laws should be upheld.
The saddest part to me is that I have lived in this apartment complex for 15 years and now we are turning into the stopping off place for illegals. They come and go and I no longer feel safe coming home at night. There are many times when I have come home in the evening that there will be several men outside my apartment drinking well into the night. They have no regard for rules, playing their music at all hours of the night. I have called the police quite a bit in the past few years now that we have bilingual leasing agents. There was gang related graffiti on an apartment wall a few weeks ago and my main goal now is to make more money so I can move to a better neighborhood. And the worst part is my mom. Her house is paid for and she has lived there for 48 years and we are going to have to move her in with me because it is just not safe in her neighborhood any more. All of her neighbors have already moved because of the numbers living in each house and the drugs and the raids. We are not rich and unfortunately, it is the rich making these decisions. THEY ARE NOT LIVING THE LIFE!
I will continue to work with your organization and a couple other ones that I believe truly have our (American) interests at heart. Please be careful in your quest to defend America from this invasion. I pray for you daily.
